Wand roomdivider

This freestanding object started from the intention to divide two zones in a space. Wand has two sides, one with shelves the other closed wood panels. The surface of the wood shows the origin of the wood; two planks from the same tree trunk. The ‘drawing’ of the wood shows the mirroring and the light differences between left and right. In the centre an inlaid brass line separates and joins the two boards.
